Front Desk Receptionist/Function Coordinator
Upscale boutique hotel located in downtown Newburyport is seeking a personable, professional full-time Front Desk Receptionist/Function Coordinator with exceptional customer service skills. Requirements include:
- Ability to work productively & respectfully as part of a small, close-knit team;
- Reliability & attention to timeliness is a must;
- Able to pay attention to detail while multi-tasking;
- Ability to represent the hotel in a professional manner with attention to hotel policies.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Coverage of Front Desk – greet all guests; answering of phones, guest inquiries; respond to emails, & check-in & check-out of guests;
- Use of reservation software to check-in/check-out guests; process payments; send correspondence to guests; & record all pertinent information;
- Showcasing our tea rooms to clientele & managing the booking/contract process with them;
- Coordinating all events day-of with the help of a dedicated server;
- Ensuring the tea rooms are always pristine & welcoming;
Full-time – 40 hours/week
Saturday, Sunday & Monday 7 am – 3 pm
Tuesday & Wednesday 3 pm – 11 pm
$23/hour plus $150 gratuity per function.
