The role:
The Bar Prep is responsible for supporting the bar department and bar team in advance of the shift. This role involves bar setup, prep & stocking, batching cocktails, preparing juices and garnishes, organizing, maintaining overall cleanliness, and ensuring the efficiency of the bar and surrounding areas. Bar prep additionally oversees receiving, storing, and dispersing goods to ensure that each department’s supply needs are met in a timely and efficient manner, helping maintain the restaurant to the highest standard of organization and in accordance with Swinger’s standards and Department of Health guidelines.
Our perfect candidate has:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a busy environment
- Kitchen prep or line cook experience is a plus!
- TIPS alcohol certification
- Passion for hospitality and a desire to grow within the company
- The ability to work under pressure and to a high standard
- The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays
