Overview
Global pharma company looking to hire experienced Bench Scientist to join their growing team! Must bring a BS Degree in Biochemistry and 1-2 of purification experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for purifying several recombinant proteins a week.
- Routine protein labelling and final characterization (target proteins and mAb/Fab, labelling, all labels including fluors, biotin, etc).
- Assistance for weekly western blots and possible transient and stable mammalian cell maintenance.
- Bachelors degree (BA/BS) with at least one year relevant experience in biochemistry, or a related field
- 1-2 years protein purification experience
- Purifying recombinant proteins
- Working with AKTA FPLC and Agilent HPLC.
- Experience labeling proteins and working with antibodies is a plus.
- Experience with tissue culture is a plus.
