Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on the 1st shift from 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the operational efficiency of our production equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various production equipment and machinery.
• Experience with compressed air and vacuum pump systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Conduct equipment inspections and document findings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs as needed.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic in a critical environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Familiarity with low, medium, and high-pressure steam systems.
• Good knowledge of rebuilding and replacing motors and pumps.
• Experience with HVAC, service, troubleshooting, mechanical, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and schematics.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.

Work on a biopharma manufacturing campus with office buildings, providing a structured and professional atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westford, MA.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
