Location
Boston, Massachusetts – Hybrid schedule offering the flexibility of both in-office collaboration and remote work.
Note
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, an active or previously obtained CPA or CA designation, and 8+ years of progressive accounting experience. U.S. person status is required due to government regulations.

Job Description
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee general ledger operations, financial reporting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Serve as the technical accounting expert for GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and cost accounting.
- Manage annual external audits and maintain year-round audit readiness.
- Lead accounting policy development, internal controls, and process documentation.
- Oversee inventory, manufacturing cost accounting, fixed assets, and contract accounting.
- Partner with operations, finance, and program leadership on financial reporting and contract performance.
- Play a key leadership role in ERP implementation and accounting system improvements.
- Develop, mentor, and lead members of the accounting team.
- Drive automation, efficiency, and continuous process improvements across the finance function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CA designation required.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting experience.
- Experience leading annual financial statement audits.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using modern ERP systems.
- Leadership experience managing accounting staff.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- U.S. person status required with ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
