Showroom Training Manager
:
F.W. Webb, Northeast's largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Showroom Training Manager for its Bedford, MA location
Responsibilities:
- Create and present training programs to bridge gaps in showroom product & operational knowledge to ensure BIC service and enforce brand consistency
- Identify opportunities for new trainings through observation and data analysis
- Maintain robust knowledge of industry trends, internal company workings and new product launches
- Ensure operational and service consistency throughout showrooms through regular virtual and in-person trainings across entire Frank Webb Home footprint
- Maintain robust working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems to train, troubleshoot and assist showroom personnel
- Work with Director of Showrooms to create, disseminate, and ensure follow-through on SOPs
- Work with General Managers, Showroom Director and Showroom Managers when applicable to identify problematic staff and develop appropriate tailored training improvement plan
- Coordinate onboarding of all new showroom hires with HR, showroom staff, and showroom manager, ensuring completion and compliance with 30-60-90 benchmarks
- Track progress of staff training completion, following up on gateways & milestones as necessary
- Work with vendors to ensure associates are properly registered for spiff programs and receive correct and timely payments
- Maintain Frank Webb Home documents and resources files
- Act as first point of contact for showroom assistance and questions, routing inquiries to appropriate parties as needed
- Support showroom personnel as needed through miscellaneous support efforts
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Human Resources or Psychology, preferred
- 5-7 years' experience training or managing personnel
- History of success in sales consulting, ideally in a Kitchen & Bath showroom environment
Skills & Abilities:
- Familiarity in utilizing traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, in-person, e-learning, workshops, etc.)
- Track record of successfully developing and executing training programs and/or SOPs
- Critical thinking with innovative problem solving
- A well-rounded, working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems
- Skills using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (Canva and Pitch, a plus)
- An inclination for graphic design, preferred
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of warehousing and sales operations, a plus
Requirements:
- Must be able to homebase from F.W. Webb Corporate Headquarters in Bedford, MA
- Travel up to 90%
Job Type: Full-time
