Environmental Services Technician (EVS)

Nature and Scope

The Environmental Services Technician maintains assigned areas in the hospital and/or dental/medical clinics in a clean orderly and sanitary condition. Responds to special requests for cleaning or assistance and maintains a smooth flow of work. The Environmental Services Technician is cross-trained in all areas and facilities of PDH.

Compensation

Compensation Philosophy:

• We have 6 pay increments on our pay scales to compensate staff for 6 years of relevant experience.

Compensation range:

• $18.96 - $24.20

Job Status / Shift Information

Available shifts:

• One (1) Full-Time Day Shift
• One (1) Full-Time Night Shift
• Two (2) Part-Time Shifts
• Three (3) Limited Part-Time Shifts

Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals solutions and procedures as relates to a health care facility.
• Communication in the English language effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Basic skills in reading writing and mathematics.

Child Care:

• PDH is thrilled to provide our Child Care Center services to all families in our area. Our program is operational from 7:45am to 5:15pm Monday through Friday and is approved for children aged 0 to 5 years. After submitting your application our Child Care Director will get in touch with you about your acceptance into the program. Once approved we will start the enrollment process.
