Technology Consulting – Managed Services – Microsoft Stack Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager in EY’s Managed Services team focused on the Microsoft technology stack, you will lead strategic engagements across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft 365, and the Power Platform. You will be responsible for solution architecture, service delivery, client engagement, and team leadership. This role is ideal for professionals with deep experience in Microsoft enterprise platforms, cloud transformation, and managed services operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery & Engagement Leadership

  • Lead delivery of Microsoft-based solutions including Dynamics 365 (Finance, Operations, Sales), Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.
  • Oversee service delivery operations, ensuring alignment with SLAs, KPIs, and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with clients to define digital transformation strategies and platform roadmaps.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for client issues and conduct regular governance reviews.


Solution Architecture & Innovation

  • Design scalable, secure, and integrated Microsoft solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Drive automation, AI/ML, and analytics capabilities across Microsoft platforms.
  • Lead platform upgrades, module deployments, and custom development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL, ISO, and other service management standards.


Managed Services Operations

  • Manage global delivery teams and offshore resources to support 24/7 service operations.
  • Implement governance models, operational playbooks, and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Monitor platform performance, incident resolution, and change management processes.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and lead high-performing teams focused on Microsoft technologies and solutions.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and capability building across the Microsoft practice.


Business Development & Practice Growth

  • Support go-to-market strategy for Microsoft services within EY’s Managed Services portfolio.
  • Lead proposal development, solutioning, and client presentations.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with Microsoft to leverage programs, tools, and co-sell opportunities.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in Microsoft enterprise platforms and cloud services.
  • Proven track record in managing full-cycle Microsoft implementations and operations.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in managed services or long-term service delivery models.


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Expert, Dynamics 365 certifications).
  • Experience with industry-specific Microsoft solutions (e.g., manufacturing, financial services).
  • Prior consulting experience with C-level stakeholder engagement.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $151,500 to $346,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $181,800 to $393,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
