School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) - ESY Program

Amergis Educational Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students during a 5-week Extended School Year (ESY) program in Boston, MA . This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys working in educational settings and providing both direct services and consultative support to meet diverse student needs.

Position Details

• Location: Boston, MA

• Program Dates: July 6, 2026 - August 7, 2026

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 30 hours per week

• Pay Rate: $65/hour , based on experience and licensure

Position Overview

The Occupational Therapist will deliver direct therapy services to students as well as provide consultation and collaboration with educational staff. This role also includes the completion of student progress reports , with additional compensation of up to 10 hours allotted specifically for report completion and adherence to shared documentation requirements and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services aligned with student IEP goals

• Offer consultation and collaboration with teachers, support staff, and related service providers

• Complete student progress reports accurately and within required timelines

• Support student needs across multiple school sites, as required

• Maintain compliance with all program, district, and Amergis requirements

Requirements & Preferences

• Active Occupational Therapy licensure

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Ability to provide both direct services and consultative support

• Willingness and ability to travel between school sites to support student needs

• Safety-Care Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
