Responsibilities
- Provide RN First Assistant support during outpatient surgical cases, including tissue retraction, hemostasis, suction, and wound closure under the surgeon’s direction
- Maintain sterile technique, assist with instrument handling, patient positioning, and surgical prep/draping to support efficient case flow
- Collaborate with surgeons and the operating room team to optimize safety and efficiency; anticipate the surgeon’s intraoperative needs
- Monitor intraoperative events, assist with documentation, and participate in safe patient handoffs during transitions
- Float to the main OR as staffing requires and participate in on-call rotations as assigned

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand at submission
- CNOR certification and BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an RNFA; outpatient surgical competency required
- Ability to float to the main OR as needed and participate in on-call rotations
- COVID-19 vaccine booster required with no exemptions; current booster status
- SSN and DOB required for credentialing
