Part Time Production Associate

The  Production Associate  serves as a member of the Production team and is an entry level position. The role is primarily responsible for program room set up and breakdowns, cleaning, organizing, and supporting guests by greeting them during our daily classes. The role also acts as a liaison between presenters, presenter assistants and guests, while providing a level of support and customer service.Â

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and breakdowns for all programs, events, and meetings.
• Provide basic AV support as needed (i.e. microphones, power points)
• Communicates directly with Kripalu faculty, visiting presenters, presenter assistants and guests, while providing a high level of customer service.
• Maintains program rooms and work areas (i.e., cleaning of blankets and yoga mats, mopping floors, distribution of yoga props, etc.).
• Receives and stores incoming supplies and equipment.
• Supports Supervisor and Leads by ensuring clear communication regarding successes and challenges during shift hours and before shift changes.
• Takes the initiative and follows through with directed projects.
• General office duties as assigned (i.e., inventory, computer work, filing, photocopying, printing).
• Adapts to new software and technologies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.Â
• Provides coverage for other shifts as needed and maintains a flexible schedule

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic Word, Outlook, and Excel skills
• Customer service oriented
• Flexible schedule allowing for days, nights, weekends, and holidays. We try to give a stable schedule but prioritize scheduling for the department’s needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand up for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds at a time independently or with assistance on an occasional basis
• Ability to use fine motor skills
• Ability to adapt to changes in temperature due to changing weather conditions
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crouch, walk, kneel, push, pull and twist repeatedly
• Ability to tolerate exposure to noise from general environment
