Travel MRI Tech Job

TLC Nursing
Pittsfield, MA
Embark on a dynamic journey as an MRI Tech with our travel healthcare program, delivering high-quality imaging care across Massachusetts and beyond. In Pittsfield, you’ll join a team that champions precision, compassion, and innovation. Imagine guiding patients through calm, efficient MRI experiences while expanding your expertise on state-of-the-art scanners. Massachusetts is a tapestry of beauty and culture—from the rolling hills of the Berkshires and vibrant fall foliage to coastal getaways and historic towns. Whether you stay rooted in Pittsfield or rotate to other U.S. locations, you’ll grow professionally while shaping patient outcomes and strengthening your professional network.

Location Benefits:
Pittsfield sits in the heart of the Berkshires, offering outdoor adventures, concerts, galleries, and a welcoming community that respects clinicians’ well-being. The region’s arts and natural landscapes provide balance after rewarding shifts on the MRI table. For those who crave fresh experiences, the opportunity exists to work at diverse sites across the United States, each bringing new imaging protocols, patient populations, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Rotating through different settings accelerates your mastery of MRI technology, enhances diagnostic precision, and expands your leadership potential while keeping your career engaging and dynamic.

Role Specifics and Benefits:
- Key Responsibilities: You will perform diagnostic MRI exams with meticulous attention to patient positioning, protocol selection, and safety. You’ll screen patients, review contrast considerations when applicable, monitor exams for quality, and maintain equipment calibration. You’ll collaborate with radiologists and other technologists to optimize imaging sequences, reduce repeat scans, and contribute to accurate, timely reports. You’ll also uphold infection control standards and contribute to quality improvement initiatives that advance imaging services.
- Growth and Development: The role supports ongoing skill enhancement in advanced MRI techniques—multi-planar imaging, specialized sequences, and, where available, functional or cardiac protocols. You’ll have access to cross-site learning, mentorship, and opportunities to extend contracts as you demonstrate proficiency and leadership.
- Competitive Benefits: Compensation includes weekly pay in the range of $1,060 to $1,153, with potential bonuses and shift differentials. Housing assistance is offered to ease relocation, and an extension pathway lets you continue your assignment beyond the initial term if you choose. Beyond compensation, you’ll gain access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to recognize your expertise and commitment.
- 24/7 Support While Traveling: A dedicated support team is available around the clock to assist with scheduling, clinical questions, and any travel-related needs, ensuring you feel secure as you move between assignments.

Company Values:
We are committed to empowering our staff and cultivating a culture of growth, collaboration, and respect. The organization prioritizes your professional advancement, pairing you with mentors, providing ongoing education, and fostering a supportive environment where teamwork and patient-centered care thrive. Your contributions matter here, and your career trajectory is a central focus of our mission.

Call to Action:
If you’re an MRI Tech ready to elevate imaging care and broaden your professional footprint, apply today. This is your opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that values your expertise, supports your development, and partners with you to shape the future of MRI across diverse settings—from the heart of Massachusetts to locations nationwide. Bring your precision, empathy, and curiosity to a team that recognizes your skill and invests in your growth.
