Senior Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team and support one of our valued clients. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing the client's cybersecurity posture by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement cybersecurity strategies: Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and best practices across the organization.
• Cloud Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Threat Detection and Response: Monitor and analyze security logs, identify and respond to security threats, and conduct incident response activities.
• Security Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Security Policy Development and Enforcement: Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior security engineers on best practices and emerging threats.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support for all cybersecurity-related matters.
• Stay Current: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, etc.) to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.

Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
• 10+ years of experience in IT or equivalent experience with a strong expertise of Microsoft AD and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell and Python.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) including security services.
• Experience with designing, configuring, and supporting SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
