Entry Level Machine Operator Needed Paying $18 to $22/hr. Location: Attleboro MA

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator responsible for setting up machines to start a production cycle, controlling and adjusting machine settings, and feeding raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to initiate a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings, such as speed.
• Feed raw material or parts into semi-automated machines.
• Ensure quality standards are met by conducting regular inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and machine operation.
• Proficiency in general labor and assembly tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and use calipers.
• Experience with press operation and stamping.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in setting up machines for production cycles.
• Ability to control and adjust machine settings effectively.
• Experience in feeding raw materials to semi-automated machines.

Work Environment

The role is based in a machine shop environment with numerous press and stamping machines. Available shifts include 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2am with four 10-hour shifts, and 3rd shift from 4:30pm to 8:30am with three 12-hour shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Attleboro, MA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
