Overview
Atlas Development Services Inc. is seeking a licensed Construction Estimator with strong demolition experience to join our growing team. This role is responsible for construction estimating, project bidding, and managing projects from initial client contact through job kickoff.
This is a hands on role for someone who understands demolition, cost estimating, and how to bring projects from estimate to execution.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform construction estimating and cost estimating for demolition and general construction projects
● Prepare detailed material takeoffs and project bids
● Source and develop new project opportunities
● Manage project bidding and convert estimates into signed contracts
● Coordinate project scope, materials, and execution plans
● Collect payments and manage client communication
● Lead job site walkthroughs and provide direction to field crews at project start
Requirements
● Properly licensed with 3 or more years of construction estimating experience
● Strong experience in demolition estimating and project bidding
● Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and estimating software
● Ability to read plans, perform material takeoffs, and prepare cost estimates
● Strong communication and organizational skills
● Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Experience
● Demolition and site work
● Concrete, masonry, roofing, and siding
● Structural work, doors, and windows
● Environmental services including asbestos removal
