Production Technician Needed!

Pay: $21/hr + weekly overtime

Job Description

The role involves setting up machinery and equipment to perform light and routine processing operations for the production of parts or finished goods. The technician ensures that all work meets established tolerance and quality standards and maintains appropriate records. Participation in group meetings and problem-solving sessions is expected, along with providing input on work planning and scheduling. Additionally, the role includes training other manufacturing personnel in product, process, and quality-related aspects.

Responsibilities

  • Set up machinery and equipment for processing operations.
  • Ensure work meets established quality standards.
  • Maintain and keep appropriate records.
  • Participate in group meetings and problem-solving sessions.
  • Provide input on work planning and scheduling.
  • Train other manufacturing personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

  • Operation and Control: Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining maintenance needs.
  • Operation Monitoring: Watching indicators to ensure proper machine functionality.
  • Active Listening: Giving full attention to others, understanding points made, and asking appropriate questions.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying operating errors and deciding on corrective actions.
  • Active Learning: Understanding new information for problem-solving and decision-making.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Experience in production, general production, machine operation, and mixing.
  • Proficiency in documentation and data entry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
