Job Summa ry: Oversees all aspects of branch performance. Increase the bank's market share by maximizing sales opportunities through relationship management and business development efforts. Develop a culture within the branch in which quality and continuous improvement on all performance accountabilities are understood and utilized by all employees. Ensure the team is focused on the acquisition of new business and personal relationships and the retention and expansion of existing relationships. Promote the Bank through active participation in the surrounding community. This role is externally focused on building the branch deposit base, but responsible for overall branch performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary focus on business development and relationship building through promotion of NB products and services to customers and prospects in the community
Identify and facilitate lending opportunities with new and existing customers, consumer and business
Develop strong relationships with existing customers; establish and maintain a network of contacts in market area to find prospect leads and generate referrals
Actively involved in coaching and development of branch staff to ensure consistent, measurable results
Conduct performance evaluations, recommend salary/bonus adjustments; counsel/discipline employees when needed; coordinate branch staff training when needed.
Represent the bank at community functions to and develop new business, both during and after bank hours
Assist in facilitating meetings between clients or prospects and appropriate bank personnel
Demonstrate best-in-class customer experience and ensure the same of branch team through consistent and effective coaching/development of branch staff
Ensure all branch employees adhere to the standard of owning all inquiries and replying with 24 hours.
Manage and execute the process of assisting customers with issues and/or questions relating to their accounts
Ensure branch safety and soundness through adherence to audit, regulatory and procedural guidelines
Maintain an environment that fosters teamwork
Manage and support the professional development of all Branch Team members
Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Highly motivated and experienced manager
Fluent in written and verbal English communication skills
Demonstrate and promote high ethical standards and behaviors
Participation in community organizations and events both during and outside of business hours
Ability to build strong relationships across the organization and in the community
Exceed customer service expectations
Adapt to change
Proven track record with sales and new business development
Must have reliable transportation; must be flexible and able to adapt to new job locations and re-assignments
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the hours of operation of the Bank, including Saturday mornings

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree highly desired or equivalent experience/combined education required (banking industry experience highly preferred)
5 plus years' experience as a successful branch manager
5 plus years of management and/or leadership experience
Extensive background in bank operating policies and procedures, banking regulations (state and federal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office

PAY RANGE: $86,534.22 - $121,147.91/year
The pay range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the pay range for this job at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and market factors; additional compensation may apply.
