Sudbury Pharmacy is a community pharmacy offering standard prescriptions as well as compounded medications. Established in 2005, we are a family owned and operated business for 20 years. We specialize in customizing medications to meet the individualized needs of patients.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role located in Sudbury, MA. The responsibilities expected from the Pharmacist consist of, but not limited to, the following:

Direct/Supervise the work of the pharmacy technicians to ensure dispensing and compounding techniques are performed accurately and in a timely manner.

Conduct a thorough review of all prescriptions for accuracy prior to dispensing.

Conduct drug utilization reviews on all prescription orders.

Provide vaccinations.

Provide patient consultations.

Perform Medication Therapy Management

Ensure compliance with all Local, State, and Federal regulatory requirements.

Ability to work with others in a team setting.

Ability to manage a staff of technicians and control workflow.

Ability to adapt to the changing environment in retail pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a compounding pharmacy is a plus, but must be willing to train and work in the compounding lab
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and pharmacy best practices, including those that specifically pertain to the compounding of medications
• Strong communication and patient consultation skills
• Ability to manage and maintain accurate patient records
• B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• A valid pharmacist license in Massachusetts
• Certification for performing vaccinations
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Ability to work efficiently and direct staff to meet daily goals with speed and precision
• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
