Dining Services Retail Supervisor (Byfield)
Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Dining Services Retail Supervisor responsible for overseeing the retail operations for the school's retail cafe located in the student center at The Governor's Academy, a prestigious independent day and boarding school located in Byfield, MA.
$25.00 per hourFull TimeSchedule: Tuesday- Thursday, 9 am to 5:30 pm, Friday and Saturday, 2 pm to 10:30 pm. Sunday and Monday off.What the Supervisor will do:
Supervise retail operations to ensure high-quality service standards and presentations are met Monitor and supervise the setup and maintenance of the cafeteria area and food stations to ensure quality standards Assist leadership in supervising and assessing staff needs, supporting purchasing and inventory activities Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees Foster an inclusive environment for all staff and guests, while maintaining effective client and customer-centric relationships Potential assistance with catering events as requested
What the Supervisor will need:
5 years of food service or retail-related food service and leadership experience required FBI background check required ServSafe® Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment Food Prep experience Ability to lift and push 50 pounds or more of inventory items Experience using online Food Management Systems/Point of Sale Systems preferred Growing knowledge of sustainable practices High levels of professionalism and strong leadership skills Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Emerging leadership skills and strong customer service orientation Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while fostering strong client and customer relationshipsWhat the Supervisor will get:
