Lead Beertender

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lead Beertender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for craft beer. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience to our guests while showcasing our diverse selection of beers. Your expertise in brewing and hospitality will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to explore and enjoy our offerings.

Duties

• Serve a variety of beers, ensuring proper pouring techniques and presentation.
• Engage with guests, providing recommendations based on their preferences and educating them about different beer styles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing retail math skills as needed.
• Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders when necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods, particularly during events or banquets.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Participate in promotional events or tastings to enhance customer engagement and knowledge of our offerings.

Requirements

• TIPS Certified and current required.
• Cicerone Level 1 preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus.
• Experience with programming items in square and adjusting web site.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Knowledge of brewing processes and beer styles is highly desirable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A passion for craft beer and an eagerness to learn more about the industry.
