Description:

We are seeking a CNC Deburr Technician with a unique blend of technical skills—someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about quality, process control, and manufacturing excellence. This role goes beyond inspection, combining hands-on deburring and CNC support with light drafting work, tool crib oversight, and documentation of process improvements.

This position is fulltime, onsite and is located in Agawam, MA

• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspection of machined parts, with a strong focus on burr identification and removal
• Use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure part accuracy to spec
• Create and maintain deburring maps and process control documentation
• Track daily output and inspection data using Excel or other tools
• Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce burrs and improve surface finish
• Collaborate closely with CNC machinists, engineering, and quality to resolve part issues
• Manage tool crib inventory; ensure returned tools meet quality standards
• Assist with drafting or CAD tasks related to part processes or deburring instructions (entry-level drafting experience is sufficient)
• Train or assist CNC operators on deburr best practices

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or training preferred
• Prior experience in deburring, inspection, CNC machining, or manufacturing support
• Familiarity with part drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation
• Ability to use measurement tools confidently and accurately
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and basic process tracking
• Entry-level experience with drafting or CAD software preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Skills:

• Proficiency with measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to utilize drafting software preferred

Working Conditions:

• May require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of materials.
• Work in a machine shop environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
