Energy Efficiency Consultant

Join our Energy Efficiency team and make a tangible impact on decarbonization and sustainability!

We are seeking a motivated Energy Efficiency Consultant II to support large manufacturing and commercial customers in driving impactful energy-saving projects. In this role, you will work closely with our lead consultants to reduce energy use, lower emissions, and improve operational efficiency across major customer facilities.

The Details

• Location: Springfield, MA (Westwood, MA also considered)

• Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

• Duration: 1-year contract with potential for extension

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• Compensation: Up to $41.40/hr (Pay Rate)

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As an integral part of the team, you will support the full lifecycle of energy efficiency projects:

• Project Development: Collaborate with customers and vendors to identify tailored energy solutions for manufacturing environments.

• Technical Support: Review complex projects involving engineering analysis and energy modeling.

• Customer Engagement: Facilitate technical assessments and long-term energy strategies for key accounts.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Align with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure project compliance and seamless execution.

• Results Tracking: Manage documentation, budgeting, and performance metrics to ensure energy savings goals are hit.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook). Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred.

• Soft Skills: A "high achiever" mindset with solid communication and problem-solving skills. We value candidates who are inclined to drive projects forward with a motivated spark.

• Travel: Ability to conduct onsite customer visits roughly once per quarter (MVR check required).
