Manager of Financial Reporting - Up to $150,000 + Bonus

We’re hiring a Manager of Financial Reporting for a leading nationwide real estate investment trust (REIT). This role oversees external reporting, supervises one direct report, and ensures compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements. You’ll play a critical role in supporting acquisitions, lease accounting, and financial reporting, helping drive the continued growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) including preparation, review, and tie-out
• Review lease accounting agreements for GAAP compliance and support acquisitions (ASC 805)
• Partner with internal teams on capitalization, depreciation, and revenue recognition
• Prepare non-GAAP reports, quarterly supplements, and earnings materials
• Oversee XBRL tagging and disclosures to ensure accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4 – 6 years of public accounting or real estate accounting industry experience
• Must have experience around SEC reporting and filing
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred:

• Big 4 public accounting experience
• CPA designation (completed or in progress)
• Prior supervisory or management experience
