Manager of Financial Reporting - Up to $150,000 + Bonus
We’re hiring a Manager of Financial Reporting for a leading nationwide real estate investment trust (REIT). This role oversees external reporting, supervises one direct report, and ensures compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements. You’ll play a critical role in supporting acquisitions, lease accounting, and financial reporting, helping drive the continued growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) including preparation, review, and tie-out
- Review lease accounting agreements for GAAP compliance and support acquisitions (ASC 805)
- Partner with internal teams on capitalization, depreciation, and revenue recognition
- Prepare non-GAAP reports, quarterly supplements, and earnings materials
- Oversee XBRL tagging and disclosures to ensure accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4 – 6 years of public accounting or real estate accounting industry experience
- Must have experience around SEC reporting and filing
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred:
- Big 4 public accounting experience
- CPA designation (completed or in progress)
- Prior supervisory or management experience
