- Can work independently and as a team member We are seeking 5-10 caregivers/CNA/HHA who can work during the week and/or weekends and be comfortable driving your client in your own vehicle.
Caring Companions offers assignments between 3 hours to 12 hours and everything in-between. We are a non-medical home care agency that assists seniors and many Veterans throughout Connecticut and Southern Massachusetts. Please apply if you are available for ANY of the following shifts:
Monday-Friday 9am-2pm
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10am-3pm
Monday and Tuesday 9am-9pm OR 9pm-9am
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-9pm OR 9pm-9am
Saturday and Sunday 9am-9pm OR 9pm-9am
Saturday and Sunday 8am-12pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am-9pm OR 9pm-9am

Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Assist clients with mobility, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding care plans.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
- Adhere to all safety and health protocols to ensure the well-being of clients.
- Current CNA certification in the state of Connecticut or Massachusetts or HHA.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move clients safely.
- Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and care practices.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
