Corporate Actions Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Actions Specialist to support time-sensitive investment operations within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing critical corporate action information, executing accurate instructions, and ensuring client accounts are updated promptly while minimizing operational and financial risk. The ideal candidate thrives under tight deadlines, demonstrates analytical thinking, and is committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

salary: $30 - $39 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Gather time-critical corporate action information and communicate internally to support timely decision-making.
• Accurately prepare and submit corporate action instructions to custodians within strict deadlines.
• Update client accounts in internal systems to reflect corporate action transactions.
• Identify, assess, and escalate voluntary corporate action risk exposures that could result in financial impact if not addressed promptly.
• Provide recommendations to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and mitigate operational risk.
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

• Ability to clearly communicate issues, risks, and recommended solutions to various levels of staff and management
• Proven ability to assess, manage, and mitigate risk while making sound decisions

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and execution excellence
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment while maintaining focus and accuracy
• Experience with BBH Infomediary, Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), Bloomberg, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
• Prior experience in investment management, asset management, custody, or financial operations environments preferred
