We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, technology-driven environment where your work will make a significant impact on our overall operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively, and have a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
2. Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
3. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
4. Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
5. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
6. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
7. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
8. Perform regular inspections of production equipment and systems to predict potential malfunctions and breakdowns.
9. Collaborate with production team to understand and execute equipment changeovers.
10. Participate in safety programs and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Experience with both facilities repair (boilers, HVAC, electrical repair, etc) and mechanical repair
3. Proven experience with equipment maintenance, technical understanding, and preventive maintenance.
4. Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with 3-phase, pumps, and valves.
5. Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and machinery.
6. Exceptional critical thinking skills, with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
7. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
8. A relevant certification or degree in a technical field is preferred.
9. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
