Quantitative Researcher
Quantitative Researcher, QuantCo, Inc. (Cambridge, MA): Apply advanced
quantitative methods to the operational decisions of clients across a wide range of industries. The position is also responsible for advising clients on process optimization that drives innovation and measurable impact, maximizing revenue and profit, or minimizing cost, by analyzing the dynamic cost and value of various inputs and outputs. Using this analysis, techniques to ensure market efficiency, the Quantitative Researcher will develop and implement QuantCos algorithms. Additionally, the Quantitative Researcher prepares data from a wide range of sources (structured and unstructured data such as text); performs data analysis, and leverages state-of-the-art techniques in operations research, mathematical models, machine learning, deep learning, and causal inference. The Quantitative Researcher then presents this data in reports, charts, or other formats as required by the client. They also integrate algorithmic solutions into our clients infrastructure, interacting closely with the product and engineering teams to do so and design experiments to validate the algorithmic solutions efficacy in production. Telecommuting from within the U.S. allowed. The basic annual pay is between \$175,000 and \$185,000. Minimum requirement: Master\'s degree in Management Science and Engineering or a closely related field. Special requirement: Any level of demonstrated knowledge of (coursework accepted): 1) Python, pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, SQL, Java, R; and 2) CI/CD, git, docker, gcloud, Bloomberg, Tableau, and iWork.
