This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions. It does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Depending on the workload and the needs of the team, our Delivery Driver’s responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

• Performing daily route deliveries, pick-ups, and returns of products to and from Mansfield Paper Customers, by following a daily delivery route laid out by the Traffic and Logistics Manager

• Maintaining paperwork for your assigned deliveries and route(s) to ensure that all invoices are present and in good condition

• Completing, organizing, returning all appropriate paperwork and invoices in good order daily

• Ensures that your delivery vehicle is unloaded and cleaned out properly and the end of each shift

• Completing any other delivery related or company related duties that may be needed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Candidates MUST:

• Have a valid, current Class D Driver’s License and a CLEAN driving record

• Be able to pass a DOT medical screening and drug test (a drug test is *required* as part of the hiring process)

• Be able safely operate 26’ truck delivery vehicles (International or Freightliner Box Trucks.)

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check

• Have 2+ years driving experience

• Have reliable transportation (and be on time to work daily!)

• Be aware that your shift may not end at exactly the same time every day.

• Be fluent in written and spoken English, and able to communicate clearly with customers and staff

• Be organized and efficient

• Have strong math skills, and attention to detail

• Be able to represent Mansfield Paper Company as a professional member of our team

• Physically able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move/push/pull/lift items weighing up to 100lbs

• Be comfortable driving and delivering in areas like DOWNTOWN Boston, Hartford, Worcester, Providence

• Be organized and have good communication/people skills - you will be interacting with our customers on a daily basis.

• Own and be able to operate a GPS (trucking GPS preferred.)

• General knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the transportation field

• Employee must be able to work independently and demonstrate a commitment to company standards to product quality and keep work area/vehicle clean, sanitized, and organized
