Senior Mobile Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer with strong Android expertise to join the team at a plant-based meal delivery company. We are looking for someone ready to take ownership of their Android application, lead key upgrades, and help evolve their mobile ecosystem. You will work in a small, collaborative engineering team where most developers are full-stack, making your mobile expertise critical to the success of the company's customer-facing apps. This role is ideal for someone who can operate autonomously, build production-ready mobile applications, and optimize the pipelines and infrastructure that support them.

Compensation:

$55/hr to $70/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years of professional mobile development experience, with significant hands-on Android and iOS development

-Strong experience delivering production Android apps end-to-end, including upgrades, refactoring, and feature development

-Experience working with React Native, Firebase, and mobile CI/CD pipelines

-Strong understanding of mobile testing frameworks, debugging workflows, crash analytics, and performance optimization

-Ability to work independently in a small team environment and drive mobile initiatives autonomously -Background in full-stack or web development (JavaScript, React)

-Experience developing an app from scratch

-Experience modernizing legacy mobile applications
