The Part-Time Evening Lead Cleaner is responsible for overseeing nightly cleaning operations while actively participating in routine janitorial duties. This role ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned to company standards and that team members perform their tasks efficiently and safely.Monday–Friday, 4 hours per evening (20 hours per week)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal, restroom cleaning, use carpet spotter machines, and other equipment.
- Lead and support evening cleaning staff to ensure tasks are completed on time and to standard
- Inspect work areas to maintain quality control and address any deficiencies
- Coordinate daily assignments and provide guidance to team members as needed
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to the Manager
- Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience required
- Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a small team
- Good communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed
- Capable of performing repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $21.97 - $25.85
