Maintenance Technician

**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of production machines and facility equipment through installation, troubleshooting, and repair efforts. The technician will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and maintaining the smooth functioning of our manufacturing environment. **Responsibilities** + Install, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment. + Conduct emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime. + Perform mechanical duties including machining, welding, and using hand/power tools. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks. + Diagnose issues, replace parts, and make adjustments to ensure equipment efficiency. + Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities. + Maintain plumbing and carpentry systems as needed. + Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas. + Coordinate with external technicians for complex repairs. + Document maintenance activities and communicate with supervisors on equipment status. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Maintenance technician experience + HVAC + Mechanical knowledge + Hydraulics + Pneumatics + Repair expertise + Manufacturing Maintenance (4+ years) + Mechanical Maintenance (4+ years) + Preventative Maintenance (3+ years) + Electrical and PLC troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Facilities maintenance + Plumbing + Snow removal **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Fitchburg, WI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
