A Day in The Life

Located in the office in the Seaport District in Boston, MA; as the Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will be a contributor to the embedded software development efforts in the Software Center of Excellence of the Surgical Robotics Organization, working in a fast-paced environment with a group of embedded software engineers and collaborating with cross functional teams to complete requirements definition, design, code implementation, unit test, and system verification and validation. You will also participate in scrum activities and might act as scrum master or product owner based on project needs. You will also help the team evaluate and create new or improve existing processes.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

-Proficient in C++ and Python
-Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting embedded devices
-Good understanding of Linux or QNX or other OS

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Nice to Have

-Experience in software architecture design
-Experience in Agile/Scrum/SAFe software development practices
-Experience in Github copilot or similar AI assisted tool
