What You’ll Do:
- Manage property-level accounting processes and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting
- Oversee monthly closings, financial reports, budgets, and cash flow analysis
- Prepare audited and unaudited financial statements
- Support MRI Software users and ensure financial system efficiency
- Partner with acquisitions and dispositions teams on transactions and due diligence
- Monitor loan covenants and maintain lender compliance documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in property accounting - preferably in commercial real estate
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
- Strong background in GAAP, joint ventures, tax accounting, and financial reporting
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with MRI Software or supporting MRI system users
- Knowledge of tenant recoveries, waterfall calculations, and real estate fund structures
- Proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools
