ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN - NEWBURYPORT, MA (Newburyport)

• Perform moderately complex electro‑mechanical technical functions including design support, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly
• Build, test, and repair electronics and electro‑mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, prototype models, and specialized test equipment
• Troubleshoot system‑level and component‑level electrical and mechanical issues
• Support new system builds, NPI installations, and field upgrades
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, written procedures, and verbal instructions
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on Applied Materials platforms
• Compile logbooks, test data, and job documentation with strong attention to detail
• Perform rework and assist in root‑cause analysis; generate Quality Notifications as required
• Work independently with minimal supervision and provide informal guidance to junior technicians
