Habibi Gourmet Food is a family-owned specialty food business rooted in the Watertown community. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our small team — someone who takes pride in their work, loves food, and wants to build something lasting.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the kitchen with food prep, packaging, and cleaning
- Drive to local farmers markets, load and unload equipment and product, and set up and break down the market space
- Represent Habibi Gourmet at farmers markets — greeting customers, processing sales, and creating a welcoming experience
- Manage inventory and keep the market space clean and organized
- Learn the full scope of operations and take on greater responsibility over time
What You'll Need
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- The ability to load, unload, and transport market equipment and product — this role involves regular physical lifting and hauling
- Verifiable work history and professional references
- Willingness to complete a background check
- A track record of reliability — people who say what they mean and do what they say
Hours
- Winter: approximately 20 hours/week
- Summer: approximately 40–50 hours/week
