The CHA Imaging department provides advanced medical imaging services led by a team of board-certified physicians, certified technologists and service-oriented staff . We offer a full complement of imaging services including a 128-slice CT and a wide bore 1.5T MRI. We also offer interventional radiology services, diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. We are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) which demonstrates our commitment to the safest and best quality care possible.
The Radiology Department is committed to providing patients with the highest quality of care in an efficient and timely manner. The department will be as accessible and sensitive to patient's comfort, safety and dignity as possible within the scope of services.Job Purpose: Performs a wide range of routine and emergent interventional radiology procedures. Must be capable of working independently, unsupervised in a fast pacedsetting. Must possess a wide range of technical knowledge. Must be able to make advanced clinical imaging decisions. Must possess good communication skills and meet service excellence standards.
Qualifications/Requirements: Maintain appropriate CEUsfor continued registry by ARRT. Interventional Radiology experience preferred. Must sit for ARRTVascular Interventional exam within 2 years. AHA or ARC BLScertification required. Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology and excellent problem solvingskills. Experience with Epic and McKesson PACS preferred.
