What you’ll handle
- Produce comprehensive estimates for electrical scope, factoring materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
- Break down drawings, specifications, and related documents to confirm requirements and scope boundaries.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subs to gather data and resolve open items.
- Conduct site walks to identify constraints, logistics, and cost drivers.
- Update and manage a live cost database to ensure pricing reflects current market conditions.
- Solicit, compare, and level quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Contribute to proposals and client presentations with clear, concise estimating summaries.
- Track budgets after award and recommend cost-saving opportunities.

- Demonstrated experience estimating electrical work in construction.
- Strong command of electrical systems, codes, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Sharp math skills and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communicator and collaborative teammate.

- Skilled at juggling multiple deadlines without losing detail.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related) preferred; relevant experience welcomed.
