Assistant Studio Manager

Down Under School of Yoga is looking for a thoughtful, proactive individual to join our Front Desk team as a part-time Assistant Studio Manager at our newest studio location in Wellesley. If you're someone with previous management and sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment - and you’re passionate about yoga, wellness, and building community - we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing As an Assistant Studio Manager, you'll support the heartbeat of the studio - welcoming students, managing check-ins, driving sales, supporting operations, and ensuring a positive and smooth experience for all. You’ll be:

• Creating a warm, professional, and inclusive environment for students and teachers
• Managing high-volume check-ins and multitasking with grace during busy times
• Communicating clearly and warmly with students via phone, email, and in person
• Supporting daily operations — including sales, cleanliness, studio setup, and livestream tech
• Collaborating with teachers to help students feel seen, supported, and successful
• Tracking and supporting intro offer conversions to memberships and helping drive class attendance

Sales & Service Mindset

We’re looking for someone who brings a genuine, relationship-driven approach to customer service and sales. You’ll be the face of the studio during your shifts - connecting with students, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward the right classes or offerings. Experience in wellness, hospitality, or consultative sales is a strong plus.

You’re a Great Fit If You...

• Bring a warm, consultative approach to service and sales - someone who can genuinely connect with students, understand their needs, and guide them toward the right classes, memberships, and offerings. Experience with service-based sales in a wellness or hospitality setting is strongly preferred
• Can work Fridays and Saturdays and one additional weekday on a consistent weekly basis. Must have weekday evening & weekend availability. Looking for a minimum of 25 hours weekly.
• Thrive in service-oriented environments and love helping people feel welcome and supported
• Are confident using MindBody Online, Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Apple products
• Are comfortable jumping in wherever needed - from sales to cleaning
• Can write and speak clearly with care and professionalism
• Are organized and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
• Are open to real-time feedback and eager to learn and grow
• Have a personal love for yoga and a desire to be part of a purpose-driven team

Bonus: If you're a 200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher, there may be teaching opportunities (compensated separately from this role).
