Location: Tewksbury, MA
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks) with possible extension
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Shift: Evening | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Start Date: February 2, 2026
End Date: May 2, 2026

Job Overview

We are seeking a Recovery Specialist – Inpatient to join our Transitional Support Services program in Tewksbury, MA. This position is in a male-only environment and plays a vital role in supporting individuals during a critical stage of recovery from substance use disorders.

Schedule Options

• Friday–Tuesday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sunday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and structure within the program environment
• Monitor client activities and conduct 30-minute well-being checks
• Observe and supervise clients and unit operations
• Conduct telephone admission screenings and assist with admissions
• Search client belongings at admission and discharge as directed
• Complete all required documentation, checklists, and shift reports in a timely manner
• Follow all agency policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with substance use populations preferred
• Valid driver’s license in good standing preferred
• Must not have worked for a BILH-affiliated facility within the past 6 months

Additional Details

• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call hours)
• No floating required
• No previous travel required
• Timekeeping via mobile application
