**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the healthcare location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols within the healthcare environment.
+ Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entrances, verifying identification, and helping to direct visitors as needed.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
+ Document and report all incidents and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
