About the Role:

As a Senior Radiologic Technologist, you will perform complex imaging examinations while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients. You will play a vital role in our patients' care, using your expertise to capture high-quality images that aid in diagnosis and treatment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for patient care.

What You'll Do:

Perform complex imaging examinations with precision and care.
Review requisitions and patient charts to determine the appropriate procedure.
Ensure patient safety by correctly identifying patients using two identifiers.
Select appropriate equipment and technical factors to capture optimal images.
Assess patients' physical and emotional status and develop individualized care plans.
Explain procedures to patients and their families, addressing their questions and concerns about radiation exposure.
Adhere to departmental quality control and data integrity workflows.
Practice high-reliability training principles.
Create a supportive and welcoming environment for patients and families.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
Assist in maintaining smooth daily operations, including ordering supplies and participating in quality assurance projects.
Contribute to new departmental and hospital initiatives.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Train fellows, residents, students, and staff.
Mentor less experienced staff members.
Participate in departmental and hospital meetings.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time.
Comply with all relevant regulations and policies.

Pursue professional development and stay up-to-date with current standards and regulations.
What You'll Need:

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Maintain ARRT certification.
BLS certification.
Associate's Degree.
3 years of experience.
Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license (for General Radiography).
