Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Leominster MA

Monday, Tuesday 830 AM - 545 PM, Thursday 730 AM - 7 PM and Saturday 8 AM - 5 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

As a Security Officer in Leominster, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a busy transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will respond to site needs with professionalism, using teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach while contributing to a reliable and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, roadways, buildings, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points, screen for unauthorized activity, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, hazards, and/or policy violations to help support orderly operations.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and/or evidence documentation, and assist public agencies and first responders during investigations, emergencies, and transportation-related disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
