The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for shaping and executing Vitra Health's overall marketing, communications, and brand strategy. The CMO will elevate Vitra Health's visibility, strengthen its brand position, and drive growth across all programs by aligning mission-centered storytelling with innovative, data-driven marketing initiatives. This leader brings a deep understanding of community-based healthcare and a passion for amplifying the organization's impact.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Brand Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year marketing and communications strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Define and strengthen Vitra Health's brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, providing insight into market trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.

Marketing, PR, And Communications

  • Lead all brand, communications, and public relations initiatives to increase awareness and credibility among caregivers, clients, healthcare partners, community leaders, and policymakers.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content and campaigns that articulate Vitra Health's mission and value proposition.
  • Manage media relations, press strategy, and messaging for organizational announcements and public-facing communications.

Digital Strategy & Growth Marketing

  • Lead all digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, SEO/SEM, paid advertising, social media strategy, email marketing, and digital pathways for program enrollment.
  • Use analytics, insights, and A/B testing to refine messaging, optimize conversions, and maximize ROI.
  • Introduce innovative digital acquisition tactics and nurture strategies for prospective caregivers and program participants.

Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Cultivate relationships with community organizations, health systems, advocacy groups, senior-serving organizations, and state partners to expand brand reach and program awareness.
  • Represent Vitra Health at industry events, conferences, and community forums.
  • Support strategic partnerships and outreach campaigns aimed at caregiver recruitment and client acquisition.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing and communications team.
  • Establish a culture of creativity, data-driven decision-making, accountability, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Work collaboratively with program and operations teams to support internal communications and organizational priorities.

Budgeting, Reporting & Performance Optimization

  • Own the marketing budget and ensure effective, strategic allocation of resources.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting dashboards, and feedback loops to track performance, measure impact, and guide optimization.
  • Present regular updates to executive leadership and the board on key metrics, campaign performance, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, communications, brand strategy, or digital marketing.
  • Experience within healthcare, elder care, home-based care, community services, or mission-driven organizations strongly preferred.
  • Proven success building and managing integrated marketing programs that drive measurable growth.

  • Exceptional writing, messaging, and storytelling abilities tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Strong command of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM/marketing automation systems.
