ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts (01201) – Berkshires region
• Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/22/2025 – End: 12/22/2025)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000-$2050

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required for ICU nurses
• COVID-19 vaccination and current booster required (no exemptions)
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
• Must provide all required compliance documentation
• Former permanent employees must have a 2-year separation before returning as a travel nurse

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform comprehensive assessments
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
