They reflect our commitment to patients, each other, and the pursuit of transformative science. We are looking for a Associate Director, Communications & Investor Relations to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in shaping and executing Climb Bio’s corporate narrative, coordinating investor and conference engagements, and managing the creation of high-impact materials that reflect the company’s science, strategy, and values. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that partners closely across functions and with external vendors to ensure consistent, timely, and high-quality communications. This role will report to the Chief Business Officer and work closely with the Leadership Team and Program Teams. Key Responsibilities Corporate Communications- Collaborate with internal experts to develop clear, accurate, and compelling content that highlights the company’s progress and differentiation.
- Drive the creation, drafting, and refinement of press releases, corporate decks, and the corporate website, ensuring alignment with company strategy, data, and messaging.
- Coordinate inputs from cross-functional leaders and external partners; manage timelines and review cycles to deliver high-quality materials for investor and conference use.
- Coordinate issuing of press releases and upload of corporate presentations on the investor website.
- Help shape and execute Climb Bio’s social media and external communications strategy in collaboration with leadership and external partners.
- Support content planning and drafting for corporate announcements, website updates, and event-related posts.
- Maintain a forward-looking communications calendar and ensure alignment across all external channels.
- Support the development and execution of Climb Bio’s investor relations strategy, including preparation of investor presentations, Q&A materials, and messaging frameworks.
- Manage investor conference planning logistics: map quarterly conferences, oversee registrations, coordinate schedules, and track participation of key executives. Support non-deal roadshows.
- Manage development of materials and logistics for R&D spotlight events.
- Partner with leadership to prepare for investor meetings, conferences, and other key touchpoints.
- Maintain investor target and contact lists.
- Maintain and update analyst estimates, consensus, and market trends, and provide insights to senior leadership.
- Prepare Board and executive committee materials on investor relation activities.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables for IR and Communications initiatives are met.
- Facilitate alignment between internal stakeholders and vendors, helping to anticipate needs and proactively remove obstacles.
- Log, track and organize conference, investor, and communications activities to maintain a clear, comprehensive overview of external engagement. Manage the IR and Communications vendor relationship, drive and define meeting agendas and ensure deliverables are aligned with strategic priorities and on budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, life sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in biotech or life sciences communications, investor relations, equity research, investment banking, consulting, or corporate affairs.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex science into clear, engaging narratives.
- Strong project management and coordination abilities; comfortable managing multiple priorities and tight timelines.
- Experience managing external vendors and developing communication materials and corporate presentations.
- Proficiency with presentation tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Canva) and social media platforms.
- Collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a growth mindset and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
