Job Description:
The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to support embedded systems development in a regulated environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems development
- Manage artifact repositories using Nexus or JFrog
- Automate build, test, and deployment workflows using Jenkins and GitLab
- Support infrastructure and system-level operations in Unix/Linux environments
- Implement logging and monitoring solutions for development pipelines
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate DevOps practices into embedded systems workflows
- Troubleshoot pipeline and system issues across development environments
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
- 5 years of DevOps or related experience
- Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Deep expertise in C programming
- Experience in medical device or other regulated environments
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems development
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash)
- Experience with artifact management tools (Nexus or JFrog)
- Strong OS-level knowledge (Linux, QNX, or Unix-like systems)
- Experience with Jenkins and GitLab for pipeline automation
- No cloud infrastructure experience required; focus on on-prem/embedded systems
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with GitLab Ultimate
- Familiarity with AIC console or similar internal platforms
- Advanced monitoring and logging implementation experience
- Prior experience in highly regulated industries beyond medical devices
