Position Overview
The Marketing Specialist will take existing research publications and translate them into high-impact marketing content across multiple channels. You will conceive and produce animations, images, website graphics, presentation decks, and other digital assets that bring complex ideas to life. This role requires a blend of strategic storytelling, design aptitude, and project management to support our communications, business development, and outreach goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Generation from Research
- Author interview, review, and synthesize peer-reviewed papers, technical reports, and white papers.
- Develop blog posts, case studies, infographics, social media copy, press releases, and email campaigns that accurately reflect research insights.
- Collaborate with researchers, subject-matter experts, and regulatory teams to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance.
- Creative Multimedia Development
- Design and animate 2D/3D motion graphics for digital channels (web, social media, video).
- Produce high-quality images, illustrations, and data visualizations.
- Create and maintain branded website graphics, landing pages, and UI components in coordination with web developers.
- Build PowerPoint/Keynote presentations and pitch decks with cohesive branding, narrative flow, and visual impact.
- Branding & Strategy
- Uphold brand guidelines and voice across all content and visual assets.
- Contribute to campaign ideation, messaging frameworks, and content calendars.
- Analyze performance metrics (engagement rates, page views, lead generation) and optimize content accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the design, product, digital marketing, and sales teams to align content with business objectives.
- Coordinate external vendors (illustrators, animators, videographers) when additional capacity or specialized expertise is needed.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure on-time launch.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
- 3+ years of marketing experience, with demonstrable work in content creation and multimedia design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and/or equivalent tools (Figma, Sketch, Blender).
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to translate technical research into clear, engaging copy.
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal) and basic HTML/CSS.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
- Basic 3D modeling/rendering experience (Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender).
- Video production and editing skills, including voice-over coordination.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Experience in a B2B technology, biotech, healthcare, or scientific publishing environment.

Compensation:
Compensation is experience and background dependent. Benefits include a competitive base salary, performance-based commission, retirement plan, healthcare, paid vacation, and future stock options.
