Accounts Payable Processor - Part Time
Kforce has a client in Boston, MA seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Processor to join their finance team. This position is Part Time. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices and check requests
- Sort, code, and match invoices to purchase orders
- Enter and upload invoices into the system
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
