Freelance IT Technician – Event Support (Boston, MA)
One World Rental Global IT Hire is currently seeking an experienced Freelance IT Technician to support an upcoming onsite event in Boston. This is an event-based opportunity for reliable professionals with strong technical and onsite support experience, particularly with event printing and registration systems.

Event Schedule
Setup
- April 13
- 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Setup of 6 Zebra ZD621 badge printers and laptops
Event Day
- April 14
- 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (includes 1 hour overtime)
- Onsite technical support
De-rig
- April 15
- 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Equipment breakdown and pack-down
Compensation
- $250 per day (based on 10-hour shift)
- $30 per diem
- Biweekly payment
- Event-based freelance contract
Requirements
- Strong experience with Zebra ZD621 badge printers (mandatory)
- Prior event IT support experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication skills
- Presentable appearance
- Must be fully available for all dates
About the Role
This role supports live event deployments delivered by One World Rental Global IT Hire. Successful technicians may be offered ongoing freelance assignments across future events.
