Account Executive
Our client, a professional services company in Boston, is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and manage client relationships. This role involves prospecting, conducting sales presentations, and closing deals with mid-market and enterprise clients. The position reports to the Sales Director and works closely with marketing and customer success teams.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week on-site at their Copley Square office.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business through outbound outreach and networking
- Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations with prospective clients
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Collaborate with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and campaigns
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in Salesforce
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Experience selling professional services or SaaS preferred
